Terms and Conditions

By requesting a booking and paying for your accommodation you agree to accept the following conditions of staying at Snowy Mountains Backpackers, Jindabyne.

  • Payment must be made in full at time of booking.
  • Payment by Credit or Debit card accepted only.
  • A key deposit of $20.00 is required for each key handed out and will be refunded upon return of keys on check out. Lost keys will be charged at $20.00 each.
  • Full payment is required for all bookings. This payment is refundable if you cancel 30 days or more prior to your booking and 50% will credited if you cancel between 30 days and 7 days prior to your booking. No refund or credit if you cancel within 7 days of your booking.
  • No refund will be given if guest arrives.
  • Rooms are cleaned daily. If you are responsible for extra cleaning charges these will be charged at $85.00/hr. Or a flat rate of $45.00 per bed. Ordinary cleaning includes change of linen on beds. Additional cleaning charges if required, to family rooms or Group booked dorms, will be charged at $200.00 per room.
  • You are allocated a room and bed number. Please use the correct allocated bed number. If you wish to change please notify management.
  • The common area is for the use of all guests. Please respect other guests privacy and space.
  • We have a 10.00pm party curfew. Please do not make excessive noise after 10.00pm. If you want to party on! Take it elsewhere!!
  • You are required to wash up your dishes that you use and put them away.
  • Remove all food stuffs you have stored in fridges or cupboards on departure.
  • Please observe the Male, Female and Disabled bathroom designations. Use the correct gender bathroom to avoid disruption to other guests stay.
  • Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
  • DRUGS will Not be Permitted on this premises. Drug use will result in Police action intervention and Total and Immediate Eviction.
  • Alcohol is permitted so long as consumption is done in a responsible manner. Drunken disorderly behavior will result in Police action intervention and Total and Immediate Eviction.
  • The rearranging of furniture outside of normal accepted use will result in additional cleaning charges as stated above.
  • The premises are under 24Hr video surveillance for all common areas and entry exit areas.
  • Guests not booked in are not permitted on the premises and will be evicted.
  • Security of personal belongings is your responsibility. Do not leave valuables in rooms or unattended. This includes all belongings. Management will not accept any liability for lost or stolen goods.
  • Be considerate of all other guests and enjoy your stay.
  • If you feel another guest is breaching these terms and conditions please notify staff or after hours supervisor.
